Raymond Conlan - Consultant

Raymond Conlan is a Consultant with over 30 years Police service and, for many of those years he was involved in the investigation of serious and organised crime. He is particularly accomplished in pro-active operations including intelligence gathering and crime prevention methodology.

Raymond has developed particular skills in the area of vehicle crime and is a recognised expert in the in the field of the identification of vehicles, plant and machinery which have had their true means of identity altered or removed. He has led numerous operations against organised crime groups who generated income through crimes involving theft and re-sale, finanace fraud, staged accidents, fraudulent insurance claims, identity theft both personal and corporate.

He has worked throughout the United Kingdom and has been instrumental in developing cross border co-operation in his particualr field of expertise. Raymond has been retained by The National Plant & Equipment Register as an expert witness. This is a worldwide organisation and the only one of its type to have Home Office approval and the backing and support of the Association of Chief Police Officers and and it's equivalent in Scotland ACPO(S).He is also a also a member of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators which has branches in Europe, Southern Affrica, Australasia, Japan and the USA.
